NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 26, 2026) – One of country music’s most authentic voices for the modern west, Chancey Williams, rides into summer for his next chapter with the release of his brand-new single, “Saddle Up,” available today on all digital streaming platforms. Accompanying the release is an official music video featuring four-time World Champion barrel racer Hailey Kinsel, creating a visual celebration of the cowboy and rodeo lifestyle that has defined Williams’ life long before he stepped onto a stage.

Written by Andy Austin, Dan Alley, Timothy Baker, and Brice Long (who also produced the track), “Saddle Up” transforms classic Western imagery into a clever country heartbreak story. Driven by a hook that compares a free-spirited woman to a cowboy always headed for the next horizon, the song captures the realization that some people simply aren’t built to stay in one place – or one relationship – for long. Blending traditional country storytelling with the restless spirit of the American West, Williams delivers a song that’s equal parts love story, warning, and goodbye.

For Williams, a former professional saddle bronc athlete and Wyoming native, the song isn’t simply inspired by the cowboy/cowgirl lifestyle – it comes directly from it.

“Growing up in the cowboy world, I’ve always loved how Western imagery can tell bigger stories about life and relationships,” said Williams. “’Saddle Up’ is really about someone who can’t be tied down. She’s always chasing the next adventure, and sometimes you don’t realize it until she’s already gone.”

While the song uses cowboy imagery as a metaphor for a restless heart, the official music video brings Williams’ real-life Western roots into focus – the clip serves as a visual tribute to the rodeo lifestyle and the culture that has shaped Williams both onstage and off.

The collaboration serves as a natural extension of Williams’ mission to preserve and celebrate the traditions of the American West through music. Over the years, he has built a devoted following by remaining true to his roots, blending arena-ready country music with the experiences and values forged through years in the rodeo arena and ranching communities of Wyoming. As mainstream country music continues to embrace Western imagery, Williams remains one of the genre’s rare artists who has genuinely lived the lifestyle he sings about.

About Chancey Williams:

Saddle Bronc athlete-turned neo-traditional country music sensation Chancey Williams, has gone from competing on horseback to performing on center stage. As one of only two artists (along with Chris LeDoux) to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days (he was recently inducted into the prestigious Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame as both an athlete and artist), Williams is the next authentic cowboy of country music. The northeastern Wyoming native has toured the nation, taking the stage ahead of headliners Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum, performing at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, as well as headlining at The National Finals Rodeo and making his Grand Ole Opry debut. In 2022, Williams was named iHeartRadio’s Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year. He also received Songwriter of the Year for single “The Saint,” and Album of the Year for his record 3rd Street, produced by country hitmaker Trent Wilmon. With the release of his sixth and seventh studio albums, One of These Days (2023) and Miles on Me (2025), Williams continues “chronicling the cowboy lifestyle in his music” (Taste of Country).
