ABOUT

Chancey Williams doesn’t sing about a cowboy life he imagined.
He sings about the one he has lived.
Raised on a ranch outside Moorcroft, Wyoming, Williams followed his father into the rodeo arena, competing in saddle bronc at the National High School Finals Rodeo, College National Finals Rodeo and Cheyenne Frontier Days. He and Chris LeDoux remain the only two artists to have both competed in the rodeo and performed on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days; an achievement that helped earn Williams a place in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame.
Now one of country music’s most authentic modern voices, Williams has shared stages with Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley and Parker McCollum, with multiple appearances at the Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Ryman Auditorium, and the National Finals Rodeo.
Following his seventh studio album, Miles On Me, Williams enters a new chapter with “It’s My Lie,” “If You Lived Here” and “Saddle Up” from his forthcoming album, Thirsty & Blue, arriving October 23rd.
Chancey is more than a cowboy singing country music. He brings honest storytelling, lived experience and that unmistakable authenticity country music needs.
Because the world doesn’t just need more cowboys – it needs more Chancey Williams.
